How to secure an apartment via MyUDR.com!
1.)Visit www.udr.com/lease189.htm
2.)Fully complete your application. Each person residing in the apartment 18+ will need to complete an application. Make sure to fill out each section entirely, so that the application can be processed properly. Once complete, your application will be directly sent to your apartment community of choice.
3.)When you are near a computer and ready to take your new apartment off the market, you must have your bank routing and account number handy. Your completed application, application fee & holding fee will be required to take your new apartment off the market.
4.)Call your leasing professional or your apartment community. We will generate a resident portal account name & password for you.
5.)Visit www.MyUDR.com. Log in to your resident portal using the information provided. It will ask you to agree to terms of service, and also ask you to change your password to something new. Please note that your new password must contain letters and numbers, but cannot contain your name or birthday.
6.)Once logged in and all terms are agreed upon, click 'accounts' on the top left side of your screen.
7.)Fully complete all sections of this page, including bank routing and account number. Please verify accuarcy before completing this step.
8.)Click 'pay rent' on the left side of your screen.
9.)Click 'pay different amount' and enter the total of your application fee and holding fee.
10.)Confirm your total, enter your password again (where indicated), and submit.
(At this point, your leasing professional will process your application. Please keep in mind that we do check credit, criminal background, and income. Upon approval, your application fee and holding fee will be non refundable. Please allow 24-48 hour approval time, although typical approval time can be much quicker. Renters insurance with $100,000 in personal liability coverage, electricity confirmation, and photo ID are required at move-in)
